A system of competing nation-states in a global economy is an unworkable combination. A global economy requires cooperation based on common interest, while competition among nations assumes conflicting interests. Surely we can find a way for people to shape their societies and cooperate to solve global problems.
No one freely chooses to work all their life to produce capital to make others rich. The worker must be robbed of the freedom to say no, to leave, or to change the system. To maintain this social arrangement everyone, including the worker, must do their part.
A managerial approach to social problems holds back the working class by keeping them subordinate to elites, experts, authorities, officials, and ‘betters.’
